Automatic Power Reserve (APR) System

Critical Time Interval. When conducting an APR takeoff, the critical time interval is that period starting at V1 minus one second and ending at the intersection of the engine and APR failure flight path line with the minimum performance all engine flight path line. The engine and APR failure flight path line intersects the one-engine-inoperative flight path line at 400 feet above the takeoff surface.  1. Insufficient control power to maintain directional control on runway
2. APR fails to operate

 1. Power reduction speeds to be always greater than Vmcg
2. Perform tests in order of decreasing performance capability
3. Check APR status just prior to Brake Release.
